Hitting the Ground and Running.
Progress, progress, progress … updates:
I remember a month ago when I had to stand on a platform which was about three feet from the ground to be able to reach up to a red piece of tape. That red piece of tape indicated where the ground floor of our Kindergarten will be. Well, I am pleased to say the school is now at ground level and coming up fast – you can see in the images here how much has changed in just a month! Now that construction is at ground level, the building works will really start to fly up. Walls are to go up very soon now, the real shape of our school is becoming apparent, and what a great space we are building!
We are constantly having productive meetings with the interior designers and architects ensuring the school is going to look fantastic and be the most amazing place to learn! This really is going to be THE PLACE to be at school next September.
We have now booked our Visitors Centre to be able to welcome you all and introduce ourselves. From January 10th onward, you can come and meet us in person by going to the Hilton The Pearl from 10am to 5pm, Sunday to Thursday. We have a great graphics company to bring the room up to NVIS standards – wrap around banners and lots of signage to help parents find their way to our meet-and-greet room on the third floor.
Parking? No problem. Park in the hotel parking area and take the lift directly to the third floor – we’ll be waiting to meet you and talk to you over a cup of coffee. And, please do bring your children. Don’t forget to pass by the pastries on the ground floor. We will of course be exercising social distancing and will limit the numbers available to control this, so do please get in touch to let us know you are coming.

Our social media program is certainly working and we hope you have enjoyed some of the pictures we feel show off the school. Lots of interest is being generated and shared. NVIS has been seen in newspapers , The Doha Globe, Qatar Living, I am Qatar, I Love Qatar, Edarabia and Marhaba. We are receiving a good share of expressions of interest for potential pupils. So, parents don’t be shy – keep on spreading the news about Northview and encourage others to register their interest at: https://www.northview.school/admissions/enquiry/.
