Northview International School Receives MoE White Flag Cup

The award, the highest in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s White Flag initiative, recognises schools that complete three consecutive years of inspections with no recorded violations or complaints.

Northview International School has been awarded the White Flag Cup by Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the top honor in the ministry’s White Flag initiative.

Dr. David Snyder, the school’s principal, accepted the award on behalf of the school at the ministry on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026.

The White Flag initiative recognises private schools in three stages, each tied to a school’s inspection record. A school that completes one year of ministry inspections without violations or complaints receives a Certificate of Compliance. Two consecutive years earns the Honour Shield. The White Flag Cup is reserved for schools that sustain that record for three consecutive years.

Ministry inspections assess how schools operate day to day, including safety, facilities, policies and adherence to national regulations. For parents, the award serves as an independent measure of standards that are rarely visible during an admissions visit.

“From the day we opened, our aim has been to build a school that parents can trust without hesitation,” Dr. Snyder said. “Three years without a single violation is the clearest evidence that we have held to that aim. It reflects the consistency of our entire community, and the commitment of our teachers, students and families to a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment.”

Having reached the highest stage of the initiative, Northview’s focus now turns to sustaining that standard in the years ahead.

Northview International School opened in 2022 and offers an American curriculum. It is part of Artemis Education, a growing international schools group with a clear mission: to expand access to outstanding, high-quality education. The group is dedicated to delivering exceptional, whole-child learning experiences that combine academic rigour with rich, dynamic co-curricular opportunities.
