Northview Awarded Clear Flag Trophy for Second Consecutive Year
Northview has received the Clear Flag Trophy for the second consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to strong governance, consistent compliance, and a constructive partnership with families. The recognition is issued in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and reflects performance during the 2024-2025 school year.
According to the Ministry criteria, the Clear Flag confirms four outcomes. There were zero complaints recorded with the Ministry. Parent partnership remained strong, with regular engagement and timely resolution of queries. There were no violations and no warnings. Every Ministry request was answered thoroughly, accurately, and on time. Together, these indicators point to orderly operations, transparent processes, and reliable follow-through.
“This recognition belongs to our community,” said Mr Sheldon Smith, Principal. “It reflects the high standards we set, the clarity of our communication with families, and the consistency of our daily work. Students, staff, and parents all played a part, and I am grateful for their commitment.”
For families, the designation offers practical assurance. Clear systems reduce friction. Issues are addressed early. Teachers can focus on learning and student well-being. Students benefit from a stable environment where expectations are clear and support is dependable.
School leaders say the goal now is to sustain and strengthen these outcomes. The plan includes regular feedback cycles with parents, routine internal checks of compliance processes, and continued attention to timely and accurate responses to regulatory requirements. The Clear Flag is not a single milestone, they add, but an ongoing commitment to operate with integrity and care, so that every child learns in a safe, well-managed, and supportive school.
